WEFRAC 2021

For this rather special edition of the national weekend of the Frac, the works exhibited outside are privileged in order to be able to find their public, in compliance with sanitary measures.

On this occasion, the poetic and evolving work of the artist collective LAb[au], hung on the facade of the Frac, invites you to rediscover the Carquefou site during a walk. Every day, a new word, made up of eight letters, animates the architecture and the landscape and offers a rereading of everyday life.

Screening of the film relating the visit to the Frac des Pays de la Loire of an exceptional guest: Françoise Vergès, political scientist, anti-racist decolonial feminist. In this film, she shares her look at the works in the collection and reveals her selection to you.

Practical workshop around “Sun / Screen (coloring book)”, by Penelope Umbrico.
Video tutorial on how to make a fabulous coloring at home and participate in Claude Closky’s exhibition currently presented at the Frac and on the Internet.
