The collection of the Frac des Pays de la Loire, which has existed since 1983, now contains a wealth of 2,000 artworks by nearly 600 artists, over half of whom are French.

While women currently account for less than a third of these artists, an increasing number of female artists are now making their way into the collection.

Today the collection encompasses all artistic fields and unreservedly showcases all forms of expression, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, installation, performance, video and cinema.

This remarkable heritage, the oldest works of which date from the 1960s, contributes to the national and international influence of French public collections.
