The Frac des Pays de la Loire offers high schools (general, vocational or agricultural) and CFAs (apprentice training centers) in the region the opportunity to join together in the thematic program L’Art en valise.

This program offers teachers of all disciplines and students an immersion in contemporary art, through a sensitive encounter with works from the Frac’s collection and with artists, within their school and in the region’s art venues.

The exhibitions presented in the region’s high schools and CFAs are open to the public and to outside institutions. They can be the subject of liaison projects between schools, colleges and high schools. This openness allows all the surrounding establishments to envisage visits and to exploit the theme in class.

In 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, the chosen theme is: Hybridations

The theme HYBRIDATIONS finds interesting echoes in the visual arts programs, optional teaching, and in the applied arts, design option. Hosting an exhibition, a boxed set or an artist in the school is, for all subjects and disciplines, an ideal way to approach art and creativity and to confront students with approaches that question their environment, whether private or professional, and invite them to develop their thinking, their critical spirit and their practice.

This project was initiated and developed in partnership with Mr. Daniel Sage, art teacher.

Exhibition presented in the gallery of the college registered in the network of galleries with educational vocation InSitu.
