Where do the artworks come from? What is a curator? Who writes the labels? From selecting the works to the scenography, putting together an exhibition is a true art!

The program offers each participating class a project designed over several sessions to explore a collection of contemporary art and familiarize themselves with the professions and stages of an exhibition. The project alternates between different activities at the Frac and in the classroom:

– A visit to the Frac, at the Nantes site, to discover an exhibition.
– A classroom session led by a Frac mediator using a digital tool, *Create Your Exhibition!*, to create a virtual exhibition and experiment with the roles of curator, scenographer, and mediator.
– Plastic arts sessions in the classroom led by teachers to create with the students.
– A session at the school or the Frac to simulate the project and present their work.

This is an opportunity for students to visit a space dedicated to contemporary creation, discover artworks, refine their observation skills, acquire artistic vocabulary, and develop their critical thinking.
