Étoiles distantes, exhibitions and events route designed and initiated by the Frac des Pays de le Loire with the complicity of partners in the Region of Pays de la Loire.

Julie Bonnaud and Fabien Leplae have formed a duo since 2015 whose practice ranges from drawing, painting, publishing and gardening. Nourished by speculative fictions and the philosophy of science, the two artists develop, in their workshop, technical devices that generate forms. Promoting a permanent collaboration between the technological universe, in particular thanks to drawbots (wall plotters reproducing, on paper, drawings made on a computer), and human intervention, their work postulates hybridization as a necessary regime for the persistence of living things.
