Third chapter of a collaboration with the artists Mariana Castillo Deball, Alex Cecchetti, Will Holder, Benoît Maire and Falke Pisano started on the occasion of the residency of the XXIIe Ateliers Internationaux du Frac des Pays de la Loire between September and November 2008, this work anticipates, prolongs or transposes the works presented in the exhibitions Chapitre 1 (les situations discrètes) from November 8, 2008 to February 22, 2009 at the Frac des Pays de la Loire in Carquefou and Chapitre 2 (la répétition) from March 7 to May 30, 2009 at the Rentilly Cultural Park, at the invitation of the Frac Île-de-France.

Conceived as the first chapters of a future book, these two exhibitions brought together works whose combinations traced the outlines of narrative situations, which the texts written or re-edited by the artists in this Chapter 3 come to reactivate. Theoretical essays in the form of short stories, performance scripts, manifesto or film script, these authorized narratives suggest intersecting trajectories and constant and mutual transformations between language, ideas and forms in the practices of these artists.
