Through the practice of drawing and painting, Arthur Lambert explores a world of force fields and particles. Each of his works is a colorful entity, both dynamic and optical. Everything there becomes granular, sometimes taking the shape of an atom or a molecule. First, he does a lot of graphic research, then he composes and recomposes them by making sketches on screen or on paper. From this preparatory work, he shapes each drawing and painting by hand with extreme concentration and great technical mastery. Because drawing, according to him, is to experience a world, to look at a part of this common universe and to cross it, to experience it. Through the use of ancestral techniques such as illumination, Arthur Lambert catches and removes timeless forms by capturing the formal impact and the magical dimension of the ancient arts.
