The Great Escape!

Fall holidays

For the Fall 2024 holiday, artist Pauline Rouet and a Frac mediator will lead the workshop The Great Escape!

The Frac holds a vast collection: over 2,000 works of art. Safely stored in the reserve, in the Frac’s basement, the paintings, sculptures, drawings, and objects rest and refresh themselves, eagerly awaiting the next exhibition. With the help of an artist, assist the artworks in coming to life. With great strides, by spreading wings, or on wheels… create a way for your artwork to escape from the reserve!

Each holiday, the Frac offers a creative day for children at the Carquefou site. It’s an opportunity to discover contemporary art and the creative process, to meet and work with artists (not Leonardo da Vinci, but others who are still alive, talented, and friendly!), and to cultivate curiosity (such a wonderful quality!).

For the lunch break, children can stay with a packed lunch (not provided by the Frac). Snacks will be provided.

A Frac mediator will be present throughout the day, assisting, taking photos, connecting the artist with participants, and supervising breaks/lunch/snack time.
