Jean-Michel Sanejouand’s work has been praised by major French and foreign institutions, including the Center Georges Pompidou in 1995. In 2012, the Frac dedicated its largest exhibition to this major artist to date.
On the occasion of the year Jean-Michel Sanejouand in Pays de la Loire, the exhibition brought together for the first time more than 250 works by the artist from the 1960s to the present day at the Hab Galerie in Nantes and at the Frac from Pays de la Loire to Carquefou. Two places in which the partition of the works was built around games in space, back and forth between series of different periods, load-objects, mood calligraphy, space-paintings, space organizations were in dialogue. thus with the monumental sculpture and the assemblages of pebbles.
